WASHINGTON, D.C. – “AFPM commends the bipartisan efforts of House and Senate leaders to pass a short-term reauthorization of the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) program. Protecting our nation’s critical infrastructure is a shared responsibly that AFPM’s members take seriously, and the CFATS program is an important tool that furthers the security of our refining and petrochemical facilities. We look forward to continuing our work with Congress and the Administration to identify areas for improvement and to enact a long-term extension this Congress.”
