WASHINGTON, D.C. – The American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM) supports Rep. Markwayne Mullin’s Congressional Review Act resolution to disapprove of the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Risk Management Program (RMP) rule.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM) supports Rep. Markwayne Mullin’s Congressional Review Act resolution to disapprove of the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Risk Management Program (RMP) rule.

The Moms Clean Air Force — a “special project” of the Environmental Working Group supported by activist like 350.org and the Union of Concerned Scientists— landed on Capitol Hill last week to oppose the nomination of Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt to head the EPA because, as they put it, “his confirmation would be an assault on health safeguards.”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – AFPM filed the attached petition requesting that EPA waive the 2016 RFS cellulosic volumes to avoid “phantom fuel” compliance payments arising from a shortfall in 2016 cellulosic production.

Years ago, Congress passed a law that mandated biofuels such as corn ethanol to be blended into our nation’s gasoline supply.

Despite the obvious advantages of gasoline, the government is intent on propping up Big Corn’s broken ethanol mandate, the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS).
