Technology - A New Era for Alkylation: Ionic Liquid Alkylation - ISOALKY (TM) Process Technology
This presentation introduces how ISOALKY Technology uses a non-volatile ionic liquid catalyst that operates with on-line regeneration, without acid soluble oil (ASO) disposal or any solid by-product formation. The presentation also reviews how ISOALKY Technology provides greater flexibility in processing olefin feedstocks with low/negligible H-transfer tendency, smaller volume of catalyst required, reduced emissions, optimized operating conditions to increase octane and alkylate yield, and decreased risk in transportation and handling of the solution.
