    Our members are strongly committed to clean air, water and waste reduction, have an outstanding record of compliance with Environmental Protection Agency and other regulations, and have invested hundreds of billions of dollars to dramatically reduce emissions as measured by EPA

    Facility Security

    Chemical facilities in the United States are required to follow federal security regulations and to ensure the safety of their employees, operations, and surrounding communities.

    AFPM members manufacture gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and other fuels that keep America moving and growing.

    America's fuel and petrochemical manufacturers directly employ about 300,000 American workers and support nearly 2 million American jobs in total when indirect employment is added.

    Public Comments, Letters and Testimony

    AFPM often finds it necessary to supply comments on behalf of the industry to U.S. government agencies such as the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regarding impending regulatory actions.
