AFPM is always watching for opportunities where we can be of service to our members.  As we see hot topics that lend themselves to our members getting together to share ideas and experiences, or learn about new regulations, etc., we will put together one-day meetings to facilitate the exchange of information.  Watch this page for information and announcements.  If you see a need that you think AFPM could fill, contact us at meetings@afpm.org and we'll make sure the request is directed to the correct individual here at AFPM.

AFPM/API Operating Practices Symposium

The Operating Practices Symposium(OPS) is a joint AFPM/API meeting which provides a forum for the exchange of information on safe operating practices in refineries and petrochemical plants. The information exchange usually focuses on facility incidents or near misses.

A symposium is held in the Spring and Fall of the year.  Dates and locations will be posted when available.
