Awards Celebration
All AFPM Safety Awards are formally presented to the refining and petrochemical facilities and their contractors at the AFPM National Safety Conference during the safety awards celebration. This evening is a celebration of the year’s safety accomplishments and includes dinner, the awards presentations, and entertainment. Photographs of the award presentation are available for pick-up as the celebration concludes.

The 18th Annual Safety Awards Celebration honored 59 Regular member companies represented by 81 refineries and 75 petrochemical plants with a grand total of 349 awards. Fifty-five Associate member companies were recognized for their excellent safety performance with 328 awards for their efforts in 120 facilities.
Marathon Petroleum Company’s Michigan Refining Division received the Distinguished Safety Award.
